So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Flames of fire and ˹molten˺ copper will be sent against you, and you will not be able to defend one another.

There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke,1 and you will not defend yourselves.
— Saheeh International
Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
— Saheeh International
˹How horrible will it be˺ when the heavens will split apart, becoming rose-red like ˹burnt˺ oil!

And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil1 -
— Saheeh International
Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

On that Day there will be no need for any human or jinn to be asked about their sins.1

Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.1

Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

The wicked will be recognized by their appearance, then will be seized by ˹their˺ forelocks and feet.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.
— Saheeh International
Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
— Saheeh International
˹They will be told,˺ “This is the Hell which the wicked denied.”
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
This is Hell, which the criminals deny.
— Saheeh International
They will alternate between its flames and scalding water.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
They will circulate between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].
