وَ اِنْ كَادُوْا
كَا دُوْ لَیَسْتَفِزُّوْنَكَ
لَ يَسْ تَ فِزّ زُوْ نَ كَ مِنَ
مِ نَلْ الْاَرْضِ
اَرْ ضِ لِیُخْرِجُوْكَ
لِ يُخْ رِ جُوْ كَ مِنْهَا
مِنْ هَا وَ اِذًا
وَاِذَلّ لَّا
لَا یَلْبَثُوْنَ
يَلْ بَ ثُوْ نَ خِلٰفَكَ
خِ لَا فَ كَ اِلَّا
اِلّ لَا قَلِیْلًا
قَ لِىْ لَا
They were about to intimidate you to drive you out of the land ˹of Mecca˺, but then they would not have survived after you ˹had left˺ except for a little while.

And indeed, they were about to provoke [i.e., drive] you from the land [i.e., Makkah] to evict you therefrom. And then [when they do], they will not remain [there] after you, except for a little.1
