فَ ذَرْ هُمْ فِیْ
فِىْ غَمْرَتِهِمْ
غَمْ رَ تِ هِمْ حَتّٰی
حَتّ تَا حِیْنٍ
حِىْٓ نْ
اَيَحْ سَ بُوْ نَ اَنَّمَا
اَنّ نَ مَا نُمِدُّهُمْ
نُ مِدّ دُ هُمْ بِهٖ
بِ هِىْ مِنْ
مِمّ مَّالٍ
مَا لِنْ وّ وَّ بَنِیْنَ
وَ بَ نِىْٓ نْ
نُ سَا رِ عُ لَهُمْ
لَ هُمْ فِی
فِلْ الْخَیْرٰتِ ؕ
خَىْ رَآ تْ بَلْ
بَلْ لَّا
لَا یَشْعُرُوْنَ
يَشْ عُ رُوْٓ نْ
اِنّ نَلّ الَّذِیْنَ
لَ ذِىْ نَ هُمْ
هُمّ مِّنْ
مِنْ خَشْیَةِ
خَشْ ىَ ةِ رَبِّهِمْ
رَبّ بِ هِمّ مُّشْفِقُوْنَ
مُشْ فِ قُوْٓ نْ
وَلّ لَ ذِىْ نَ هُمْ
هُمْ بِاٰیٰتِ
بِ آ يَا تِ رَبِّهِمْ
رَبّ بِ هِمْ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ
ىُ ءْ مِ نُوْٓ نْ
وَلّ لَ ذِىْ نَ هُمْ
هُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ
بِ رَبّ بِ هِمْ لَا
لَا یُشْرِكُوْنَ
يُشْ رِ كُوْٓ نْ
وَلّ لَ ذِىْ نَ یُؤْتُوْنَ
ىُ ءْ تُوْ نَ مَاۤ
مَآ اٰتَوْا
آ تَوّ وَّ قُلُوْبُهُمْ
وَ قُ لُوْ بُ هُمْ وَجِلَةٌ
وَ جِ لَ تُنْ اَنَّهُمْ
اِنّ نَ هُمْ اِلٰی
اِلَا رَبِّهِمْ
رَبّ بِ هِمْ رٰجِعُوْنَ
رَا جِ عُوْٓ نْ
اُ لَٓا ءِ كَ یُسٰرِعُوْنَ
ىُ سَا رِ عُوْ نَ فِی
فِلْ الْخَیْرٰتِ
خَىْ رَا تِ وَ هُمْ
وَ هُمْ لَهَا
لَ هَا سٰبِقُوْنَ
سَا بِ قُوْٓ نْ
وَ لَا نُكَلِّفُ
نُ كَلّ لِ فُ نَفْسًا
نَفْ سَنْ اِلَّا
اِلّ لَا وُسْعَهَا
وُسْ عَ هَا وَ لَدَیْنَا
وَ لَ دَىْ نَا كِتٰبٌ
كِ تَا بُنْ ىّ یَّنْطِقُ
يَنْ طِ قُ بِالْحَقِّ
بِلْ حَقّ قِ وَ هُمْ
وَ هُمْ لَا
لَا یُظْلَمُوْنَ
يُظْ لَ مُوْٓ نْ
بَلْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ
قُ لُوْ بُ هُمْ فِیْ
فِىْ غَمْرَةٍ
غَمْ رَ تِمّ مِّنْ
مِنْ هٰذَا
هَا ذَا وَ لَهُمْ
وَ لَ هُمْ اَعْمَالٌ
اَعْ مَا لُمّ مِّنْ
مِنْ دُوْنِ
دُوْ نِ ذٰلِكَ
ذَا لِ كَ هُمْ
هُمْ لَهَا
لَ هَا عٰمِلُوْنَ
عَا مِ لُوْٓ نْ
حَتّ تَآ اِذَاۤ
اِذَٓا اَخَذْنَا
اَخَذْ نَا مُتْرَفِیْهِمْ
مُتْ رَ فِىْ هِمْ بِالْعَذَابِ
بِلْ عَ ذَا بِ اِذَا
اِذَا هُمْ
هُمْ یَجْـَٔرُوْنَ
يَجْ ءَ رُوْٓ نْ
So leave them ˹O Prophet˺ in their heedlessness for a while.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
So leave them in their confusion for a time.
— Saheeh International
Do they think, since We provide them with wealth and children,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children
— Saheeh International
that We hasten to ˹honour˺ them ˹with˺ all kinds of good? No! They are not aware.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive.1
— Saheeh International
Surely those who tremble in awe of their Lord,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord
— Saheeh International
and who believe in the revelations of their Lord,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And they who believe in the signs of their Lord
— Saheeh International
and who associate none with their Lord,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And they who do not associate anything with their Lord
— Saheeh International
and who do whatever ˹good˺ they do with their hearts fearful, ˹knowing˺ that they will return to their Lord1—
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful1 because they will be returning to their Lord -
— Saheeh International
it is they who race to do good deeds, always taking the lead.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.
— Saheeh International
We never require of any soul more than what it can afford. And with Us is a record which speaks the truth. None will be wronged.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged.
— Saheeh International
But the hearts of those ˹who disbelieve˺ are oblivious to ˹all of˺ this,1 and they have other ˹evil˺ deeds, opposite to this, in which they are engrossed.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides that [i.e., disbelief] which they are doing,
— Saheeh International
But as soon as We seize their elite with torment, they start to cry for help.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment,1 at once they are crying [to Allah] for help.
— Saheeh International
