You will recognize on their faces the glow of delight.

You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.
— Saheeh International
They will be given a drink of sealed, pure wine,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
They will be given to drink [pure] wine1 [which was] sealed.
— Saheeh International
whose last sip will smell like musk. So let whoever aspires to this strive ˹diligently˺.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
The last of it1 is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.
— Saheeh International
And this drink’s flavour will come from Tasnîm—
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And its mixture is of Tasneem,1
— Saheeh International
a spring from which those nearest ˹to Allah˺ will drink.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink.
— Saheeh International
Indeed, the wicked used to laugh at the believers,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.
— Saheeh International
wink to one another whenever they passed by,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.
— Saheeh International
and muse ˹over these exploits˺ upon returning to their own people.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.
— Saheeh International
And when they saw the faithful, they would say, “These ˹people˺ are truly astray,”
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."
— Saheeh International
even though they were not sent as keepers over the believers.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
But they had not been sent as guardians over them.
— Saheeh International
But on that Day the believers will be laughing at the disbelievers,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
So Today1 those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,
— Saheeh International
